Sirin's Song

About

Two schoolchildren, pursuing the mysterious Sirin bird, find themselves in the abode of the Slavic gods, where they must aid Veles himself, the ruler of Navi. The boys travel through the magical worlds of Navi, Prav, and Yav, meeting both new friends and dangerous enemies. The Upper Kingdom is ruled by the mighty Perun the Thunderer and his wise, beautiful wife, Makosh—the goddess of fate, family, and women's crafts. The film also tells the story of the three main fantastic birds of Slavic mythology—Sirin, Gamayun, and Alkonost—these prophetic birds hold many secrets.
